Swingouts | Level 2 Lindy Hop lessons

We love a good swingout! We'll start tuning up this fundamental Lindy Hop move by breaking it down again and focusing on technique. Then, we'll add footwork variations, turns, and other exciting moves. You should already know the swingout, and have taken a full series of classes on it, to participate in this class.

PLEASE NOTE: THERE WILL NOT BE A CLASS ON JUNE 12. Watch our Facebook page for a little dance party instead.

THURSDAY SCHEDULE
Beginner Lesson | 7:00 - 7:45 PM
Social Dance & Practice (all levels) | 7:45 - 8:15 PM
Level 2 Lesson | 8:15 - 9:15 PM

VENUE: Masonic Lodge. This is down the street from the Iowa City Public Library. There is free parking in the Chauncey parking ramp after 6 p.m.

COST: $10 per evening or $5 for students.

This lesson series is: June 5, 19, and 26 (yes! we will not have lessons on June 12). We recommend attending the entire 3-lesson series because concepts and moves will build on each other throughout each lesson. However, drop-ins are welcome anytime, with the understanding that they may not get the most out of the lesson, having missed prior lessons in the series
